Merry-Go-Round - SUMMER!!
Before living in Turkey, this is what the summer season meant to me:
Holidays by the seaside…
Or by the pool… (this is the biggest pool in the world...)
Where you can meet interesting creatures…
Melting like ice-cream on the curb…
Getting a tan…
It also meant barbecues…
And picnics…
And at the end guessing what people had been up to on their hols…
Now here in Turkey there are really only 2 seasons: the sunny 6 months from May to October, and the not so sunny, cold and wet season from November to April. Summer still means the same to me: it’s outdoor living, sunshine and seaside fun, barbecues etc. The only difference is, it last much longer than summer itself! :)
Thanks for visiting!

I miss the ocean!!!!
Nice to know how the weather is in Turkey. I almost came to Turkey sometime ago and instead went to Egypt. I love to visit it one day in the summer time since it is really fun.
Where 'is' that pool? I want to meet the lovely, friendly tiger!
I know scorching weather can be tough, but I envy you so...
Oooh, that picture of all the people sitting around tables in the ocean looks so niiicee. I wish I were there (although I am sure it is very hot). Where I am, Im almost hugging the heater. Bring on the warmer weather and if I could get all my wishes, I would love a beach like those in the pictures. :)
I love your funny photos! Sx
Ha ha ha!!! What a terrific post...! Brilliant!
I had to snigger at the bikini man x
Sorry to be here so late again this month. I'm trying now to get back to normal xx
